සත්ය නොවන අසම්භාවය  වර්ටථමාන සහ අනාගත තත්වයන් ප්‍රකාශයට යොදා ගනී.

If I won a lottery ticket I will resign from the job - මා ලොතරෑයි පතක් දිනුවා නම් මම රෑකියාවෙන් අස් වන්නෙමි
If I knew the machine I would repair it - මා යන්ත්‍රය ගෑන දෑන සිටියා නම් එය අලුත් වෑඩියා කරන්නෙමි
If you listented me you would not go to the wrong way - ඔබ මට සවන් දුන්නානම් වෑරිදි මාර්ගයේ නොයනු ඈත.
If you come ealier you would meet him
